Paola Sorrentino

Paola nasce a Foggia nel 1995.  Dopo il triennio in design all’ISIA di Firenze parte alla volta di Urbino per studiare Illustrazione. Al termine del biennio si reca in Erasmus all’ENSAD di Parigi, dove frequenta per un anno il dipartimento di Cinema d’Animazione.  Nel 2020 realizza il suo primo corto Ligne rouge et ligne noir (2020) a cui segue Girls talk about football (2021), un documentario animato sul calcio femminile.  Le piace lavorare con penne, inchiostro, pittura, pastelli a olio, o in generale qualunque oggetto che sia in grado di sporcarle le mani, i vestiti e tutto ciò che la circonda. Ha un computer con cui litiga spesso, ma alla fine fanno sempre pace.

Paola was born in Foggia in 1995.  After a bachelor in design at the ISIA in Florence, she moved to Urbino to study Illustration. At the end of the master she went on Erasmus to ENSAD in Paris, where she attended the Animation Film department for a year.  In 2020 she made her first short film Ligne rouge et ligne noir (2020) followed by Girls talk about football (2021), an animated documentary about women's football.  She likes to work with pens, ink, paint, oil pastels, or in general any object that can make her hands, clothes and everything around her dirty. She has a computer with which she often fight, but they always make peace in the end.
